Rooted in Horsemanship. Guided by Connection
At the heart of everything we do at NorthWoods Farm, is the belief that the bond between horse and human is built on horsemanship: trust, respect, and genuine connection. Whether you're meeting a horse for the very first time or continuing a lifelong journey, we provide a welcoming place where both horses and people can learn, grow, and thrive.
Rooted in thoughtful horsemanship and guided by connection, we offer personalized riding instruction, hands-on equine handling and care education, and meaningful experiences that nurture confidence, balance, and well-being. Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals, whether those goals include the show pen or just a safe walk down the trail. NorthWoods Farm is helping riders of all ages and abilities build lasting partnerships with their horses through patience, clear communication, and mutual trust.
Beyond the arena, our farm is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most. Through wellness retreats, yoga, meditation, and equine-assisted experiences, we invite you to experience the calming presence of horses and the restorative beauty of nature. Whether you're here to improve your riding, restore your spirit, or simply enjoy the peace of the countryside, our hope is that you'll leave feeling stronger, more grounded, and inspired.
NorthWoods Farm is also proud to give back to our community by hosting free events throughout the year, creating opportunities for families, neighbors, and first-time visitors to experience horses, nature, and connection in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. We believe horses have a way of teaching presence, patience, and heart. It’s our honor to share that experience with everyone who walks through our gates. The greatest lessons horses teach aren't just about riding—they're about presence, resilience, compassion, and connection. We're excited to share that journey with you.
